Feeling a little MIA lately.

I'm an on-location photographer which means that I have no studio and therefore I have to shoot outside. It's actually a really great thing because I can give something unique to my clients than you can't get from a studio photograher. Yes, I'd love to have a studio as well but for now I'll just have to work with what I got.

With that said, I'm trying to find patience waiting for the weather to warm up. The next few months are going to be a little slow for me which is fine but I'm just so eager to get back out there shooting. The past 6 months have been a blast for me. I never imagined that I would wind up doing something I love so much. Taking pictures is one thing, but taking pictures that people actually want to pay you for is another. I feel so blessed to be able to do that and I can't wait to see what 2011 brings me.

Now I'm going to go grab my electric blanket and the book I've been catching up on during my down time and I'm going to pray that the weather warms up soon. Stay warm everyone. Talk to you soon.

Sara & Jeff + 1

My first photo shoot of the year was with a great couple named Sara & Jeff. There were so great to work with and they are so excited to welcome their little girl into the world. The name is a surprise which is really exciting. Sara and Jeff, I wish you all the best with your new bundle of joy. Good luck and I hope to maybe see you back in the future for family portraits :-)

Baby Gavin

I've been testing around trying to figure out how to post larger photos. I've finally figured it out and had to post this picture of the newest member of our family. This is my new baby cousin Gavin. He's precious. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I wish you all the best in this new year.
