Ashley & Jordan | Engaged

Meet Ashley and Jordan. They will be married next summer and I cannot wait. They want their wedding to be a huge celebration and party. Both of them are pretty laid back and were easy going with the photo shoot. Ashley picked out a great location and the day was beautiful. At the end of the shoot, they wanted to wear their favorite baseball team jackets. I was fine with that except neither of them wore a cardinal jacket. Did they not know who was playing that night for the World Series Championship??? Anywho, after talking smack for a few minutes we got back to the photo shoot. Cubs and Yankees.... I guess it'll have to do. Sorry Ashley, I'll always be a Cardinal fan :-)

Meet Katilyn

Katilyn is a 2012 senior and called me a while back to schedule her session. On the day we originally scheduled her session, Katilyn was in a bad car wreck and rolled her car, so obviously she had to reschedule. Her mother called to say she was okay but just had a few scratches on her arm. She had an angel looking out for her that day!

So, the day we rescheduled her session, it ended up being a beautiful day and she was ready to get her pictures done. We ended up using her grandparents farm and all I got to say is that it was AWESOME. I love fall and the colors that comes with it. The leaves that day just looked beautiful. When you see the photos below you'll know what I'm talking about.

Katilyn, I'm so glad you are alright. You rocked your senior session and I'm proud to post my favorites for everyone to see. Good luck to you in your future!

Shayla & Andrew | Engaged

Shayla and Andrew will be getting married in March and right off the bat they wanted fall engagement pictures. It was a tight squeeze with my schedule this past month but I found a day and it turned out to be gorgeous. The only thing I would have changed is the WIND! It was super windy that day so the first location I had in mind didn't work out the best. We went to another location which turned out great. We found lots of older buildings that blocked the wind so it was perfect. Shayla even made these homemade signs with their wedding date, "He Asked" and "She Said Yes". So cute.

Tiffany - 2012 Senior

Seniors are by far my favorite pictures to take. You want to know why? Well, I'll tell you. It's because they are so fun and I only have one person to focus on. Not that I dislike taking family pictures or weddings, because I love them as well, but there's something about senior shoots that I just can't put into words.

Meet Tiffany. She's my latest senior to appear on the blog and she's one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. She pretty told me that I could do anything I wanted and go to whatever location I thought would work best. I ended up taking her to my aunt and uncle's farm, which is gorgeous. The colors of fall just work best on farms. I hope Tiffany had just as much fun as I did because when you have fun you end up with pictures like this.

Tiffany, thank you so much for letting me be the photographer for your senior portraits. I wish you all the best in your future.

Dolce Family

Heather was the lucky winner I drew for a free session a few months ago. She immediately told me she wanted to use it for family pics... the WHOLE family. Since her brother was in my class and we grew up together, I knew their family pretty well and I was excited to see the whole gang again. She let me choose the location so I choose a new place I just recently discovered and it's gorgeous with the fall colors. All their pictures turned out great, but it's not hard when you have a family as cute as this! I'm so glad you won Heather and I'm so glad you chose to do family pictures. It's so hard to get the full family together these days!
