Forest Park Engagement Session – St. Louis, MO
For the last 15 years, I’ve enjoyed long winters while patiently waiting for midwest weather to cooperate so that I can start scheduling engagement sessions as well as spring family and senior sessions. The moment it starts to get warm out, my calendar starts to fill up. In the last 10 days, I’ve had 2 senior sessions and 5 engagement sessions and I have another engagement session tomorrow! It’s been so fun getting to spend time with my couples and getting to know them more.
Amber and I began discussing locations for their engagement session back in January. She talked to Jack and they both really liked Forest Park around the Muny and the art museum. I told her that springtime in Forest Park is absolutely perfect so we penciled in a date and prayed for great weather and no rain. If you live in the midwest, you know that weather here has been absolutely crazy with wind and tons of rain. We were lucky enough to have the most beautiful Saturday morning for their session. The park wasn’t too crowded yet and we were able to pretty much shoot anywhere without a ton of people being around.
Amber asked if it would be alright if they brought their son along for a few family photos. Of course I said yes and I was able to meet him as well! His name is Jack, just like his dad and they call him Jack Jack. Amber’s father came along to help watch over Jack Jack when he wasn’t taking photos. It’s always great meeting new clients but getting to meet some family members early is always a bonus.
We seriously had the best time and I’m so excited to share my favorites with you all! Enjoy!
