Last week, I met up with another photographer, in the area (Keri Hamilton Photography), and her family for her yearly family pictures. She contacted and told me that she didn’t really trust a whole lot of people to take her pictures and as a photographer myself, I know exactly what she’s talking about. Since we normally prefer to be BEHIND the camera, it’s hard to allow someone else to be in charge and get the shots that we want to get ourselves. Okay, so maybe we’re a little bit of control freaks but at some point you just have to let go and let someone else take the pictures LOL.

I met up with Keri, her husband Doug and their son Brantley at Keri’s mom’s house down in the Rockwood area. We then drove to some property owned by a friend. When we pulled up I immediately got excited because it was simply beautiful. Old barns, overgrown weeds, overcast skies and the colors of fall. I was in heaven!!! Everything was perfect and Keri even brought a few props to use. Everything went so well and their pictures turned out amazing. I loved pretty much every picture LOL. Okay, I know, I always say that but it’s so true. I wish I could show you all of their pictures but obviously I cannot do that or else you’d be here all day! Enjoy looking through my favorites.
