Nathan + Danielle | Pink and Silver Winery Wedding

September 3, 2013

Filed in: Uncategorized

The last couple of weeks have been crazy for me! I shot Nathan and Danielle’s wedding then drove to St. Louis and rode 20 miles with my dad and step mom at midnight and then turned around and shot a senior session at 8am. I was totally sick that Sunday and ended up having to cancel another session I had Sunday evening. Sometimes I just don’t manage time well LOL. Later that week I left for Alabama to visit my mom and when I returned my landlord told me some news that I had been waiting on since February… I COULD MOVE INTO MY HOUSE!!!! I’m not buying the home, I’m still renting but it’s so cute an cozy. I’m going to have so much more room and it’s so perfect for me.

Needless to say I haven’t had much time to edit Nathan and Danielle’s wedding. They knew I would be on vacation for a week but had no idea I would be moving. I kept apologizing to Danielle but she’s so sweet and told me she completely understood and that it was worth the wait. Well Danielle…. it is because your photos turned out so good!!!!!

Nathan and Danielle got married in a cute little church in Ellis Grove, IL and their reception was held at  The Barrens Winery in Perryville, MO. Their ceremony was so cute and they opted to wait to see each other till Dani walked down the isle. I love doing a “first look” but the traditional way still gets me every time. Nathan had the biggest smile on his face and he couldn’t take his eye off his bride. Dani looked gorgeous in her dress and pink bouquet. Such a beautiful ceremony where they promised their lives to one another in front of their family and friends. As we drove to Perryville to the winery, I kept thinking how perfect the light was. That “magic” hour was approaching as the sun was setting. We made our way about 100 yards over to the vineyard for pictures and I’m so glad Dani was willing to walk that far in heels because it was totally worth it!

I’m so honored that they asked me to be the one to capture their big day. It was such a romantic day and their family and friends welcomed me in as one of their own. Enjoy my favorites from their wedding day.

Probably some of my favorite detail pictures I’ve ever taken.

How cute are they????? Adorable!!!

Seriously, look how happy they are!

One of my favorites!!!!

This was Nathan’s brother’s idea…. love it!
