Right now I’m currently wrapped up in a cozy blanket editing on this rainy Friday. There’s a cup of fresh coffee next to me and the whole room is filled with the scent of candied caramel pecan. I know I’ve said this a million times but I love this time of year. It’s my absolute favorite! The trees are gorgeous right now and my October clients are lucky this year. It’s so hard to tell what the weather is going to do and when the leaves are going to change. It’s in full bloom right now and Kayla’s senior session was full of bright orange colors and golden sunlight. I met her and her family at the park in Sparta because she wanted pictures with her dirt bike. It was the only place I could think of to do pics with the dirt bike  but in all honesty, it’s one of the most gorgeous places to take pics right now, especially in the late afternoon. The sun starts to set and there’s this amazing golden light that flows in. There were a couple other spots that I had her in where I think her mom thought I was crazy. But sure enough, when I showed them the back of my camera they all were amazed. Sometimes it’s hard to tell people the angle and idea I’m going for. It’s just my eye that sees things and I have great clients who just trust me in the process.

I adore all of Kayla’s senior pictures so much and I had so much fun with her and her family. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Hopefully the rain will stop so this evening’s Octoberfest parade in Steeleville will still take place. Enjoy!
