The last week has not been the best weather wise. There has been so much rain that I was about to build an ark! Last Friday when I made my way out to Lindsay’s house for her senior portrait session, it was raining. And not just raining, a pretty hard rain. It wasn’t ideal conditions for a portrait session but Lindsay insisted that we carry on and make it work. I was game. I told her we were going to show Mother Nature who’s boss LOL.

The ONLY way we were able to make this session work was the fact that we were shooting at her mom and surrounding property. After every clothing change, Lindsay would blow dry her hair and touch up everything and then we’d head back out. If we had been on location somewhere it wouldn’t have worked. Now, by looking at these pictures, you would never know it was raining as hard as it was and I’ll be honest, there may be a few pictures where her hair doesn’t look absolutely perfect. Honestly, who’s hair looks perfect all the time??? Lindsay was being herself and her pictures turned out so awesome because of it.
