As most of you know, I run my own photography business (obviously) and then I also work part time as a graphic designer at a local newspaper. But in my spare time, in the winter, I’m a high school cheerleading coach. Next week I start official practices for my 2nd year of coaching and I cannot wait. Kelsey is one of my senior cheerleaders and she’s one of the sassiest girls you’ll ever meet. She’s small but such a fun attitude and spirit about her.
Kelsey contacted me right after school started and told me she wanted to book her session for the fall. I was so excited because fall is my favorite time of year and I knew we were going to have a great time. On the day of her session, I met her at her house and when I walked through the door her mom, Jennifer, was standing there with this look on her face. I knew what she was thinking. She was about to see her daughter taking her senior portraits and she just couldn’t believe that the day had come! I think we made it through the session without any tears. Tears of a mom so happy and proud of her daughter.
I’m so excited to show you my favorites from Kelsey’s session. Not only as a photographer, but as a coach too. You’ll be seeing more of Kelsey this winter when we do more pictures of her in her cheerleading uniforms.
