Zach + Sierra | Blush & Gold Summer Wedding | Red Bud, IL

July 8, 2017

Filed in: Weddings

The last few weeks have been a blur. I bought a house, packed and moved out of my rental, had a birthday and held a mini party in my front yard for the 4th of July parade that my hometown holds every year. My new house sits right along the parade route and I loved having a bunch of family and friends to celebrate the holiday with. It all seems so surreal. I haven’t had a ton of time to really process everything that’s taken place recently and I’ve been behind on editing one amazing wedding. You see, all of this happened right after Zach and Sierra were married. These two have been so patient with me with their wedding edit and I’m proud to say that they don’t have to wait anymore!

This was one beautiful wedding. When Sierra told me that the colors were going to be blush and gold, I got excited. They are soft colors and perfect for summer. The bridesmaids wore long blush gowns in different styles by Bill Levkoff from Bridal Manor while the groomsmen wore grey suits with blush ties, also from Bridal Manor . The gorgeous blooms for the wedding were designed by Grimm & Glory Florist & Gifts. Sierra wore an amazing Allure Bridal gown from My Formals and it was if that dress was made specifically for her. It was stunning! Everything that day was perfect, even the temperature. It’s not common to have a summer wedding and NOT be sweating profusely LOL.
There are many moments from each wedding that I take home with me and ones that I’ll never forget. One of my favorite moments from this wedding was when Sierra did the first look with her dad. When her father, Sid, turned around, he was wearing a set of costume teeth. It was hilarious and Sierra loved every minute of it. If you know Sid, then you know this is something totally normal for him. He’s such a great man full of life and love for his children. My other favorite moment from the day was right before the reception, where the bridal party surrounded Zach and Sierra and shot off confetti cannons! This again had Sid written all over it. He purchased the party poppers and spray painted them gold to match the wedding colors. It was so much fun to take his idea of the party poppers and turn it in to a magical moment.
I had so much fun with Zach and Sierra and I’m so darn excited to show you my favorites from their wedding day. Before I do that, I just have to give a shout out to Krista, my assistant who helped me at the wedding. Thank you so much, Krista. You have no idea how helpful it was to have an extra pair of hands to flush dresses and hold bouquets, etc. Thank you!

Time for the FIRST LOOK!!!!

Zach was in love! He just twirled Sierra around and stared at her in awe 🙂

They had a little bit of an audience during the first look LOL

Are they just not the cutest couple ever!

You are GORGEOUS, Sierra!

Oh Sid, how I love your spirit and personality.

Walking with dad down the isle…

ALL MARRIED!

I love stopping traffic for an epic photograph! So much fun!

AH! I love this so much!

I love the way Zach makes Sierra laugh 🙂

Some reception details…

YES!!!!!!!

Is it just me, or does the confetti look like it made a heart shape cutout around their faces??? LOVE this!

CONGRATULATIONS!
