As I was shooting this wedding last weekend I kept thinking that I’m not going to be able to write into words how special this day is. I’m not much of a writer. There were so many moments that left me speechless and if you know me, you know that that’s pretty much impossible. One moment was when Shayla’s father saw her in her dress for the first time. And another was when Shayla and Andrew stood on opposite sides of a door holding hands (so they couldn’t see each other) and said a prayer before the ceremony. There were so many more special moments but then you would be reading for a while, and lets just face it, you really just want to see the photos. So I’ll just get right to it.
Shayla and Andrew, you two are so special and I don’t think I’ve laughed and cried so much as a wedding… EVER! The love you two have for each other is something you don’t see every day and I’m thankful that I was able to take part in your special day. I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon. Enjoy my favorite shots from your big day!!!
Shayla had a broach bouquet….BEAUTIFUL! Some of the broaches were her grandmother’s and she had a ship on there because they were going on a cruise for their honeymoon. Very special.
Shayla… you’re beautiful!
Andrew loves the camera!
I love the “model face” guys!
I wish this was my idea, but it’s not. One of the groomsmen’s name is Jared so they wanted to do the “OMG, he went to Jared” picture. Too funny!
One of the moments that took my breathe away! Shayla and Andrew wanted to say a prayer before the ceremony but they didn’t want to see each other. Very quite and special moment… priceless!
Love the vintage car!
And last but not least…my favorite shot of the day! I absolutely love this picture for so many reasons. The car is amazing. The light was perfect. And just look how in love they are!
