Loran is my step-sister and I knew it was just a matter of time before Chris would be asking the big question. Sure enough, in December on Loran’s birthday, he asked her for her hand in marriage. Of course she said yes! (Obviously if you’re reading this post LOL).

People always ask me what to wear during their engagement sessions and what locations would be best. Naturally Loran wondered the same thing and I told her I wanted her to think of places that she and Chris liked to go to, or places that meant a lot to them and their relationship. So she thought of one place… Little Grassy in Carbondale. They both work there and spend a LOT of time there, plus it’s beautiful. Not only was the location beautiful, but we had gorgeous weather that day. I was so excited to go down by the lake because it was just unreal to have a nice 80 degree day down by the water in MARCH! Who would have thought!!
