Cassidy | 2013 Senior

Fall is my favorite time of year for pictures and it’s the time of year where I’m booked solid on weekends for about 3 months. You won’t hear me complain about that though because I love what I do. When you find something you love, it doesn’t feel like work.

You probably have seen a lot of senior sessions posted lately and that’s because this is their favorite time of year. A lot of schools need their yearbook pictures turned in after Christmas so this is the perfect time for getting pictures taken. I first met Cassidy when she came along for her friend Lacy’s senior session. You can view Lacy’s session here. She had such a great time that day that she went home and told her mother that she had a blast and wanted me to do her senior pictures too. When her mother called to tell me that it just made my day!!! You’ll hear me say over and over again that senior sessions are my favorite and to hear that they have just as much fun as I do just makes it even better. Since I had already met Cassidy I knew that she would be comfortable in front of the camera for her session.

I drove down to her home town and we took pictures on the family farm. It was absolutely perfect. The minute I drove up I saw like 10 spots I wanted to use! I love it when that happens. It’s always nice to use a new location. It keeps my images fresh and unique. And that’s exactly what Cassidy wanted. She wanted her pics to be unique and fun. After a while we decided to drive over to Fort de Chartres to finish her session. The entrance is my absolute favorite. It’s an amazing spot and only the 2nd time I have been there.

Cassidy, I had such a great time taking your seniors photos. I hope you like your pictures as much as I do. You were amazing and every picture I took turned out great! Enjoy the rest of your senior year. It’ll go by fast!
