On the day of Emilee’s session, the forecast called for 30mph winds. That’s right, 30mph winds. How does a photographer take pictures of a senior who has long hair in 30mph winds? Well, it’s tough but I made it work. I found locations that blocked as much wind as I could. Poor Emilee was patient with me and her long hair got a little wild at times but for the most part the wind played to our advantage. You know that “wind blown” look that models have… like someone was holding a fan up in the model’s direction? Well that’s exactly what we had. You would never know by looking at these images that the wind was horrible, and that’s why I’m in love with this session.
