MY COUSIN IS GETTING MARRIED! I kept telling my cousin that one day when he proposed to his girlfriend to give me a call and we’d work something out LOL. That day seemed like it would never come. I think I was as anxious as Heather was about the proposal. I was so excited to hear he finally popped the question and I already began making plans and thinking up ideas for their pictures.

We met up in Carbondale for a few urban style pictures and then Heather suggested we head out to a winery in Carterville called Walker’s Bluff. I won’t tell you that the weather was perfect because it was pretty darn cold!!!! But you would never know it from the looks of their pictures. I think once the session was over we all were froze to the bones and ready for a nice warm cup of coffee or mocha from McDonald’s (that’s what I prefer).

I cannot express enough how happy I am for my cousin DJ and his fiancé Heather. They are truly a great couple and they compliment each other so well. Their wedding day cannot get here fast enough. Enjoy looking through my favorites from their session.
