HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I can’t believe that 2012 has already come and gone and now I’m facing 2013 and all it’s possibilities. But before I can bring in the new year, I need to wrap up 2012. I have been so blessed this past year and the families and couples that I have worked with have become more than just clients. They have become friends.

In 2012, I shot 14 weddings and 142 portrait sessions. That’s quite a bit of difference from the year before. In 2011, I shot only 4 weddings and 99 portrait sessions. My business is definitely going in the right direction and I’m so thankful for the couples and families who have trusted me along the way. I wish I could post a favorite picture from EVERY session I had the pleasure of shooting in 2012 but my blog post would be extremely long. That’s why I’m only going to recap the amazing weddings I’ve shot this year. I appreciate these couples more than they know and I’m once again, pleased to show you my favorites. It was hard choosing just 1 picture for each wedding but 1 wedding deserved 2 favorites. you’ll see below why. There is one wedding that is not posted below due to the couple’s request. So if you count along the way and only see 13 weddings, that’s why.

Now, this wedding deserved 2 favorites on this post. The reason is because this particular picture was by far the favorite picture I posted on Facebook. Normally a picture of mine get 40-60 likes or so but this picture of the bridal party on the tractor was a hit. It received over 800 likes and 47 shares. I’m still shocked about that! Seriously, it’s pretty crazy but I’m glad everyone likes this picture as much as I do.
