I’m so excited to introduce you to this amazing couple. Meet James and Melanie. They are getting married in October and with Melanie’s crazy work schedule, now was the time to get their engagement pictures taken. I can remember meeting them at the local Subway (I know sounds pretty fancy) and I knew right off the bat that I loved them. They were so darn cute! Melanie told me she wasn’t too thrilled about having her picture taken, as most people are, but she’s gorgeous so I told her not to worry about a thing. Well my instincts were right and you’re about to see all kinds of amazingness! Is that even a word? Well, it is now…. because it sounds cool and I’m all about being cool.

Melanie is from the Chester area originally and she suggested that we take the pictures somewhere in that area. I knew right away I was going to take them to the Pierre Menard Home. It’s amazing even in the middle of winter/early spring. It’s not open right now and it’s a bit overgrown from nobody taking care of it through the winter but it’s still a perfect location for pictures. I think I should just move there because I use it so much!

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing James and Melanie are. They are so laid back and they were so easy to erik with. Spending an hour with them wasn’t enough! I could have taken their picture all day. Good thing October will be here soon (don’t hate me for saying that but it’s true) because their wedding day will be approaching and I’ll be able to capture more amazingness, (yes I said it again).
