Last fall, I had the pleasure of taking senior pictures for twins. I had so much fun that day with the twins and I had no idea that it would lead me to a wedding booking for their sister! When I got the email from Samantha asking about my wedding packages I just knew it was going to be a match made in heaven.

Fast forward to present time. On Sunday, I met Samantha and her fiancé Jake in a little town called Maeystown. If you’ve been following my blog you’ll recognize this cute little country town. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Jake and Samantha live in the city but they wanted a more rural setting for their photographs. When I mentioned the possibility of using Maeystown she instantly replied with YES and that she had been there before and knew where it was. What neither of us expected…. was for it to be 90 degrees! Seriously, it was so darn hot. It’s May people! That’s just not right. But you would never know it was that hot by looking at their pictures. Samantha kept asking me if she looked alright and I was baffled because this girl is seriously gorgeous. She could have been ringing wet with sweat and still looked good! No worries for her and poor Jake, well I at least allowed for him to roll up his sleeves LOL. He was a trooper and I’m looking forward to working with him on his wedding day.

I keep thinking that April is going to take forever to be here but honestly I will blink and we’ll be planning the holidays. Time just speeds up in this business. It’s hard not to wish the time away because I’m always wishing for wedding days to come to I can spend time with these amazing couples. I know I’ve said it before but I truly have the best clients ever. They get me and I get them and it’s just a perfect relationship LOL.
