One of my favorite websites is a site called Pinterest and if you don’t know what that is then you should go check it out, because you don’t know what your missing. When Pinterest started every girl in the world started secret wedding boards and started pinning ideas for her wedding day. That was the case with Julie. As I was walking through the American Legion Hall in Steeleville, IL a couple weekends ago, there were so many details and handmade items. I’m a huge detail shooter and this was one wedding that was full of them. I asked Julie about it and she was quick to rattle off “PINTEREST!” It’s such a great site and Julie and her mom took ideas from what she pinned to create the wedding of her dreams.

Julie’s mom, Sharon, owns a country store with antiques and crafts. She’s amazing and basically did everything herself. I don’t know how she did it! A mother who’s planning her daughter’s wedding already has a lot on her plate, let alone design and decorate the wedding herself!!! Even baking a ton of cookies for the awesome “cookie bar.”

I keep forgetting to mention Todd in all of this but I don’t mean to intentionally. He’s seriously such an amazing person and so full of laughter and love. There’s never a dull moment when I’m around Todd (okay, I’ve only been round him like twice) but that’s enough time to get to know someone. I’m so happy that Julie and Todd have found each other. When they are together they are usually laughing or smiling and that’s what matters most.

I’m so happy to show you a few of my favorites from their wedding day. It was such an amazing day with family and friends and I’m so honored that they chose me to be one to capture it. Todd and Julie, I wish you many years of happiness. You two deserve all the best that life has to offer. Congratulations!!!
