I’ve never been engaged before, but I can only imagine what it’s like to look down at your left hand and dream of the future with your soul mate. The minute you get engaged, your whole life changes. It’s a moment that girls dream of since they’re little girls. I’m sure guys would tell you that they don’t dream about that moment but deep down I would think that guys do look forward to meeting that one girl who will be the love of their life, the mother of their children and the woman that he’ll grow old with. I’m a hopeless romantic and I hope to one day find a man who has those feelings towards me. I hope one day that I’m that girl who is distracted simply because she’s staring at her left hand. That time for me isn’t now but it happened for the 26 couples that came to me in 2013. Since I am a hopeless romantic, shooting engagement sessions is fun. I love capturing 2 people in love.
