Mackenzie | 2014 Steeleville High School Senior

April 23, 2014

Filed in: Uncategorized

If you’re thinking this girl looks familiar from another blog post I did…. then you’re correct. Mackenzie had a fall senior session already and it was at that session that she decided that she wanted to do a spring session as well. Mackenzie is a pitcher for Steeleville High School’s softball team so that meant we could do pics on the field as well as head toward St. Louis for some other pictures. Since her fall session had more country scenes and farm sheds, etc. she wanted a more modern session in the city for spring. I’m always up for a trip to St. Louis as long as I can fit it into my schedule.

After missing the right road not once… but TWICE because of construction, we finally made it down on the landing and parked in front of the Arch. I was ready for a drink at that moment because traffic and construction are so frustrating. I think Mackenzie’s mom, Cam, was on board with me at that moment but we knew we had pictures to take LOL. After walking around the landing we ended up with a ton more images for Mackenzie to add to her huge stash of photos she has already. I have way too many favorites. I think I kept telling her “OH this is my new favorite” and “nope, this one is my favorite!” It’s like every time my camera snapped a photo it was great. It wasn’t Mackenzie’s first rodeo though LOL. I’ve taken her family photos a couple times and her fall session so this past Saturday was a cake walk for her. She loves the camera and the camera loves her and I’m excited to show you my favorites… the few I could decide on that is.

Hope you are all having a great week so far. I’m currently on my way to Spanish Fort, AL to visit my mom for a few days and enjoy the beach with my aunt Jan. Stay tuned for pictures from my trip!

Prom dress on the ball field… I think so!

It wasn’t the easiest to get up into this space with that dress on, but I thank Mackenzie for doing so! It was worth it!

Those windows were PERFECT for her dress.
