Last Wednesday I traveled 11 hours down to Spanish Fort, AL with my Aunt Jan to visit my mom and step dad. It was a much needed vacation considering we had the longest winter ever here in Southern Illinois plus not to mention that I missed my mom and step dad terribly. I hadn’t seen them since Christmas and it’s the longest I’ve gone without seeing my mom. I’m still not used to the fact that she moved all the way to Alabama but the plus size of her living down there is that there are beaches nearby. And since there are beaches close, my Aunt Jan was the one I asked to go visit with me. She LOVES the beach. After spending 2 days on the beach, I came back to Illinois pale as the day I left with a few sun burns and my Aunt came back golden and beautiful. It’s not fair LOL.
