I first met Michelle a couple years ago when she was in one of the weddings I shot. Her best friend was getting married and she was so excited and couldn’t wait to walk down the isle herself. When I received her email saying that she was engaged and that she wanted me to shoot her wedding, I replied right away with my congratulations and from there we started planning the engagement session.

Michelle loves Fort de Chartres in Prairie du Rocher and that’s where she wanted her session at. My excitement for that place is growing more and more each day. I just recently took wedding photos there and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to shoot in because the architecture is lovely, the sun shines through beautifully and it’s unique.

Marcus, like most grooms-to-be, showed up with a smile on his face but deep down I knew he wasn’t too thrilled with a camera about to be in his face. After a few minutes I could see Marcus letting lose and getting more and more comfortable and before you knew it he was just cheesing it up. His “nuzzle” face is adorable and I cannot wait till the wedding day to see him love on his bride. Michelle, with that gorgeous blonde hair and super long legs, looked fabulous in every picture and was up for any ideas I had. She did have a few of her own and she brought along some Scrabble pieces for a photo idea.

I had such an amazing time with these two and I cannot wait till October when they officially become HUSBAND and WIFE.
