Last Saturday, from the moment I stepped foot into Marcea’s grandmother’s house, I knew it was going to be a magical day. Marcea and her bridesmaids were in the sunroom getting beautified and talking about the wedding. I immediately got started taking pictures of all of the gorgeous details, like the invitation, jewelry Marcea would be wearing, her shoes, etc. I love shooting the details and this wedding was no exception. I couldn’t get over how beautiful the color of the bridesmaids dresses were. It was sort of a peach/blush color and was very flattering on all the girls. It was the background for my detail shots because it was such a unique color. One all the girls got ready, we started on portraits. The goal was to get portraits of the bridesmaids and groomsmen separately since Dane and Marcea were not seeing each other before the ceremony. We started with the bridesmaids and then switched and while one group was getting pictures the other group ate a quick lunch. Before we knew it, it was 2pm and the ceremony was about to begin. Marcea walked down the custom-made runner that her mother made of burlap. It was stunning!!! The ceremony was traditional and beautiful. So many great moments with smiles and laughter. It was beautiful to witness and capture all at the same time. I have to remind myself to “keep shooting pictures” and “don’t miss anything” when all I want to do is take in the moment of couples promising their lives to one another with vows and exchanging rings. They are moments that are so special to witness.

Ceremony time… and Dane was so emotional when Marcea walked down the isle. Don’t hate me for posting these, Dane!
So fierce!
And because I love detail shots… here are a few more!
