Zac and Lily are getting married in 2 weeks! That’s right… 2 weeks away! With crazy school schedules, work schedules, etc. it’s been hard to find a time that worked to get this engagement session in. But we made time last week and it was such a beautiful night for pictures. I met Zac and Lily at Zac’s grandparent’s farm and when they told me they wanted to use that location I knew it was going to be amazing. I love farms, especially ones that are in the family, because it’s a location that means something special to the couple and it’s unique unlike other portraits that I shoot.
We moved around on the farm and I learned all bout how they met and how Zac proposed. They’ve been dating for 7 YEARS! They’ve known each other their whole lives though. After using some great spots around the farm, we made our way down the small rocky lane to a creek just past the house. It was such a romantic spot. I kept thinking that if that was my property I’d be there all the time! It was so quiet and peaceful and just the right setting for some engagement portraits. I think Zac’s favorite part of the session was when we went back up to the barn and while I was taking ring shots he was over by the cows and decided he wanted a shot with his cows. There was even one cow that had spit hanging from his mouth and Zac asked if I could capture that LOL. Yep… I did! You’ll see below.
I had a great time with Zac and Lily and I cannot believe that they are getting married in 2 weeks!!!! Crazy how time flies. Stay tuned for their amazing wedding day to be shared on my blog. In the meantime, enjoy looking through some of my favorites from their session.
