Tyler + Kacey | A Downtown Ste. Genevieve, MO Engagement Session

This blog post is making me feel old today! I could hear the excitement in the email I received from Kacey when she told me she was engaged. You see, I’ve known Kacey pretty much my whole life. Our dads used to carpool together to work and I actually used to babysit Kacey and her older sister Kendi when I was younger. That’s why I feel old! I still somehow wonder how she’s even old enough to get married! What’s crazy is that besides sharing the same name, we also have sisters with the name Kendi!!! We grew up in the same small town and so naturally, when I found out Kacey was engaged, I couldn’t have been happier for her.

This past weekend, I drove Tyler and Kacey over to Ste. Genevieve, MO for their engagement session. That was my first time meeting Tyler and by the time we made it to our destination I could see why Kacey fell in love with him. He’s such a sweet hearted guy and very charming. He and Kacey were so cute together and they moved smoothly through the session as if they practiced. You see, posing couples doesn’t have to be “work”. It’s pretty simple once you see how two people interact with one another and how their love shines through.
