Tyler + Sarah | A Countryside Engagement Session

October 2, 2014

Filed in: Uncategorized

It looks like the fall colors are coming early this year. I didn’t realize it till last weekend when I was shooing wedding photos. The trees are starting to get the auburn, burgundy and yellow shades and the sunlight in the evening is golden and heavenly. Last year, it wasn’t till Halloween when trees really started to change colors and that meant that my October clients didn’t get the “fall” type session that they were hoping for and my November clients did. It’s always hard to know when it’s going to happen but now, it’s officially happening LOL.
Last Sunday, the fall colors were jumping out at me during Tyler and Sarah’s engagement session. I met them and then followed them out to Tyler’s grandparent’s house in the country. It’s a good thing I did follow them or else I probably would have gotten lost. I was amazed at the beautiful property and while Tyler and Sarah were finishing getting ready for their session, Tyler’s mom and grandma took me around to different spots and gave me ideas on where to shoot. There was a huge oak tree that has been around for years and means a lot to the family. There was a beautiful lake and dock that they wanted pictures at. Also, there was an area where there used to be an actual lane/road to the house but it had since been overgrown and not used anymore. It’s more of a trail now and had the most beautiful light so that was definitely going to get used too. I had some other ideas of my own but the best idea they had was for me to take a ride in an Argo ATV. I didn’t even know what one was till they told me. I’m not exactly a country girl but man that thing was cool. Tyler’s mom just drove me right into the lake and we road over to the dock where Tyler and Sarah were and took the most beautiful pictures. We ended the session by Tyler and Sarah jumping in the pool with their clothes on just for fun and why not! It was kind of hot and they wanted to cool down LOL.

I left that session really wanting my own Argo ATV but on a more serious note I left with new friends. Their families are so great too and I cannot wait till their wedding day when we can all hang out again. Maybe I can sweet talk Tyler into letting me come back out there for more Argo rides!

Absolutely LOVE the light in this picture!

The light was PERFECT in there!

Definitely a FAV right here!

Fall means pumpkins! And I love pumpkins. Sarah did a great job painting it too!

Just hanging out in grandma and grandpa’s wine cellar. No big deal.

YAY!!!! So fun!
