Adam and Jessie were married a couple weeks ago on one of the most beautiful fall days we’ve had this year. The air was a bit crisp and there was a slight chill and the best part was that it was overcast that day which made for the most perfect light for wedding photos. The day started off with Jessie doing a “first look” with her father and it was one of the most touching parts of the day. Jessie is the baby of the family and she’s very close with her parents so when a bride wants to incorporate special moments on her day for her parents it melts my heart. Adam and Jessie chose to stay traditional and they saw each other for the first time as Jessie walked down the isle. I know I love “first looks” because it ensures way more wedding photos but I still like tradition too. Nothing wrong with it 🙂

The ceremony was beautiful and afterwards they walked out of the church with their guests showering them with bird seed. Someone didn’t get the memo about taking the bird seed OUT of the little bag because they threw a whole bag of bird seed right as Jessie. It was hilarious actually and she got a kick out of it.

The rest of the evening was absolutely perfect and before I left the reception I sat down after packing up all my gear and I just sat there taking in all what was happening all around me. Wedding season is coming to an end for me and I’m a little sad bout it. Being a wedding photographer isn’t for everyone. I sacrifice a lot of Saturdays away from my family, friends and my own love life (or lack there of LOL). I don’t mind it one bit. I get to be surrounded by the most loving couples and meet so many people in the process. I truly love my job and wouldn’t change it for the world.
