I’m currently sitting in the Starbucks inside of Barnes & Noble in Carbondale preparing for a wedding and trying to catch up on editing. I had a senior session this morning already (it’s fall and it’s like the only day I had left to shoot) and I already feel like half of my day is gone. But I’m super excited because I’m getting ready to head to my last wedding of 2014.
But today isn’t all talk about a wedding, it’s to introduce you to Paige, a senior from Chester High School. She’s so darn cute and super sweet. She’s a cheerleader, which you all know I used to cheer and I’m a cheer coach now, so we got along great. We talked all things cheerleading and I asked her about other things going on in her life right now. Her session was at the Pierre Menard Home and I hadn’t actually shot there in a while so it was refreshing. The beautiful golden light from the sun setting was perfect and the best part was heading down to her uncle’s property down the road to an old bridge. It’s fabulous and I’ve actually shot there before. The sun was about to set though so we made it just in time before we lost the light.
Paige, I absolutely love how your pictures turned out and I had so much fun with you the other day. I can’t wait to see you during the basketball season cheering on your team. Enjoy looking at my favorites from your session.
LOVE this shot!
