Do you remember the app Words With Friends? It’s a Scrabble app that you could start games with random opponents all over the world or with friends you had on Facebook. That’s exactly how Jaron and Heather met! Their mothers had both been trying to set them up and that didn’t seem to be going as planned. But then one day, Heather, making the first move, started a game of Words With Friends with Jaron. It was a simple game that got them two talking and the rest is history.

When planning their engagement session, they wanted settings for both country and modern and I knew that Du Quoin was the perfect place. They lived nearby so it wasn’t too far of a drive for them. Scrabble pieces were going to be apart of the session of course but they brought along some other props too. I love when a bride brings props for her session! I love shooting details so it was fun spelling out words and using the ring. I shot a LOT of ring shots at this session but I couldn’t help it.

I cannot wait till September! Jaron and Heather will be getting married then and it’s going to be a magical day. They are such a beautiful couple and I cannot wait for you to see my favorites from their session.
