October 2, 2015
It’s officially October which means that I made it through September! If you haven’t noticed by now, I had a LOT of September weddings. This year I booked five (there was a Thursday wedding) and at first I was nervous about it. As the month went by I started to get in my groove and everything went well. The only thing that is slacking is my editing time! I can usually get a wedding edited and blogged a week after the event which means that I’m a week late showing you this beautiful wedding!
Kyle and Hayley were married two weeks ago at the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Ava, Illinois. I had never been there before and when I got there I saw all this amazing ivy growing up the side of the church. Now some people might say it’s overgrown and needs to be taken down but to me it was beautiful. You’ll see what I mean when you scroll down.
But before the ceremony, Hayley wanted to do all the pictures of her and Kyle beforehand. She had set aside an hour and a half for portraits which is UNHEARD of for a wedding day with a bride and groom. It was a dream come true. They had their first look in the trees on some family property then we found this amazing rustic fence (which fit their wedding theme so perfectly). There was this random tree on the side of the road that we stopped at and the last place we went to was Kyle’s parent’s house. All of their romantic pictures turned out beautiful and I thanked Hayley for allowing so much portrait time on her wedding day. Her response was simply that she LOVED pictures and it was the most important part of her wedding day.
The evening ended with a reception at the Steeleville American Legion where the Ladies Auxiliary served the most amazing food, like always, and JD the DJ entertained guests with music. The hall was decorated so nice and the head table was absolutely gorgeous. I’m so honored to be apart of Kyle and Hayley’s big day and I’m so excited to show off their love story. Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.
I love the bottom of the coozie cups.
Probably one of my favorite ring shots ever! It’s probably because it’s on a purple flower. And by flower I mean weed and it had thorns and I made myself bleed a few times doing this picture (on the right) but it was worth it LOL.
This dress shot just screams FALL.
Time for the first look.
Could this fence be any more perfect!!
LOVED this tree!
I love the moments before and after a kiss…
Dreamy golden light coming through the pine tree…. SWOOON!
More pics on the side of the road.
Pictures by the church were wonderful!
The ceremony is about to begin.
