I remember driving home from this wedding thinking that I was more in love with being a wedding photographer than ever. You see, I get to be surrounded by love on a weekly basis. Whether it’s taking engagement pictures, a wedding, family pictures and yes, even senior portraits, I get to see love in all forms. I get to be the one capturing moments that people will be looking back on for years to come.
Clinton and Elizabeth’s wedding was so special. They decided to stay traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. When Elizabeth made her way down the isle with her father, they way she was looking at Clinton and how he was looking back at her was all that mattered. I could tell that we were all suppose to be in that church witnessing the union of two people coming together as one. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when Clinton and Elizabeth were going down to hug their parents and give the mothers flowers. Well…. Clinton forgot and he had to run back up there, get the flowers and come back down. It gave everyone a chuckle. I didn’t see it as a mistake. I took it as a sign that not everything is perfect, but in the end it all works out okay.
The ceremony ended beautifully and then we all made our way to the reception. The meal was great, the desert bar was fabulous (5 different kinds of cheesecake, cookies and cupcakes) and the dancing was never ending. Another favorite part of the evening was when the song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) came on. The floor filled up with tons of people, old and young. It was so fun to watch everyone have a great time.
Enjoy looking through Clinton and Elizabeth’s love story. Their wedding was beautiful and I’m so lucky to have been apart of it.
