Last weekend, on a very chilly morning, I met Kassidy and her mother, Amy, in Collinsville for Kassidy’s senior pictures. The location of choice was the Willoughby Heritage Farm and it was so cool. There was an amazing garden, beautiful mums lining the drive, a big red barn that housed the restrooms, an old wagon and another big barn for holding weddings and events. There were chickens too and some other farm animals. It was the perfect location for a fall senior session.
As we walked around the farm, I got to know Kassidy a little better. After having her do a “catcher squat” pose I found out she was actually a catcher on a couple softball teams. One team is her school team and the other is her travel ball team. And I have to brag a little on her, but Kassidy will be attending Coastal Carolina University where she has a softball scholarship. How awesome is that?!!
The session ended up at Kassidy’s second home, the softball field where she plays on both teams. I felt bad for her because it was freezing while doing the pics there because the diamond sort of sits in a valley. Can you say WIND TUNNEL! She told me she had played games in colder weather so it was no big deal. I think she rocked her session and I’m so happy for this girl and her softball career.
Here are a few of my favorites from her session. I hope you all are enjoying your week. Just one more day till the weekend!
P.S. This session took place at 8am in the morning. I realize most seniors do NOT want to wake up early on their day off from school but it really pays off. Look at that amazing morning glow!
Sort of jealous of the purple school colors! I always wished my school was purple LOL.
One of my favorites for sure! Look at those colors.
