I cannot believe that this is my first blog post of 2016! I’m totally slacking but things are a bit slow in the winter for a wedding photographer and there’s not much to write about until things start to pick up. Well, Mother Nature is starting to cooperate a little and I’ve been scheduling some sessions… finally!

Bryant and Katelyn scheduled an engagement session about a month ago or so but it rained. When we rescheduled Katelyn was feeling under the weather and so we had to reschedule again. Finally, this past weekend, I met up with them and we had a great time shooing pictures around the town of Du Quoin. If you have been following me on the blog or Facebook for a while, you’ll probably recognize some of these locations. I absolutely love shooting in Du Quoin because there are a wide variety of locations for couples to choose from. Bryant and Katelyn are pretty laid back and were up for anything that I had in mind.

I knew from the minute the session started that their pictures were going to turn out great! You’ll see what I mean when you scroll through. They are so cute and I’m so happy for them. They’ll be getting married in Springfield, IL this April and I cannot wait. Enjoy looking through some of my favorites from their session.
