Darren + Jenna | Historic Bell Hill Bed & Breakfast Wedding – Cobden, Illinois

May 9, 2016

Filed in: Uncategorized

As I made the drive down to Cobden, Illinois for Darren and Jenna’s wedding, All I could see were cloudy skies and the forecast was not looking good. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous for rain. I think most people get nervous for rain on a wedding day, but for a photographer it’s totally different. Your mind starts racing and thinking of all the possibilities that can be done IF it did in fact rain. I prayed the whole trip that God would clear up the skies and bring out the sun for this beautiful wedding and prayers were answered!

As I pulled up to the Historic Bell Hill Bed and Breakfast, there were many people walking the grounds setting up for the event. I had shot here before and remember the beautiful barn and the huge white house. But for Darren and Jenna’s wedding, there was a huge white tent being decorated for the dinner. Everything was going to plan. The rain held off (which was seriously amazing) and we were able to get all the portraits that Jenna wanted. Darren and Jenna decided to see each other before the ceremony so that she could have more portraits and it was a great move. She now has tons of images and they are some of my all time favorites!
I cannot wait for you to see my favorites from this beautiful wedding. It was such a perfect day and I’m so honored that I was apart of it. If you are looking for a great outdoor and rustic venue, then you really need to check out the Historic Bell Hill Bed and Breakfast.

These Kate Spade wedding shoes were to die for!!!!! I seriously love these.

Darren couldn’t wait to see Jenna……

Jenna, you were a BEAUTIFUL bride!

I just love Conan.

They were married in the barn.

Look at this view!

The sun came back out, so we ran for a few more portraits with the golden light.

First dance as husband and wife!
