When I see a bride for the first time on her wedding day, there’s always this excitement and anticipation for the big day. I’m a morning person so I’m usually pretty bubbly from the minute I wake up. A couple weeks ago, I walked into the Healthy Hair salon and I saw Rachel getting her hair done. She was smiling and laughing with her bridesmaids. I remember asking her about her thoughts on the rain (it was literally raining buckets and buckets of rain that morning). Her response was simple, “I’m fine with the rain. If we have to do all the pics inside the church that’s fine with me. I’m just ready to marry Tim.”
Tim and Rachel have been dating for the past nine years, yes, 9 YEARS. After nine years, they are officially wearing the title of “Mr. & Mrs” and I gotta say, it looks pretty good on them. If you’re wondering about the rain, yes, it rained pretty much all morning and then stopped right before the ceremony. The day turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Rachel had purchased a cute umbrella with their monogram put on it in bright pink letters. It was super cute and I’m glad she thought ahead just in case it had indeed rained on her wedding day.
I’ll end this blog post by saying that Tim absolutely adores Rachel. I’ve captured 90+ weddings and I’ve seen a few grooms get up and thank everyone for coming, etc. But Tim blew me and the whole crowd aways by his sweet words he had for his bride. They have this inside joke between them that when one of them asks how sure they are about something, they respond by saying “they are ___% sure. Tim said he knows he’s gotten a lot of slack for taking nine years to propose to Rachel, but he said he wanted it to be right decision. He ended by saying that he is 100% sure he is going to love Rachel the rest of his life!!! Awwwww so cute!!!
