Justin and Kasey were married a couple weeks ago on one of the prettiest days this fall. I remember pulling up to Kasey’s parents house that morning to start taking pictures of the girls getting ready and noticing that the sky was super bright blue. There wasn’t a cloud in sight and the sun was shining bright. Normally I’m not a fan of bright sunlight for wedding days but I was okay with it. I knew we would be taking photos in shady locations so we were good. It also meant that there would be a beautiful golden light coming through the trees. In the fall, that glow is like nothing else. Justin and Kasey picked just the right time to get married… even though they both are hunters and probably would have rather been in the woods LOL. 

Everything went perfect that day. A beautiful ceremony took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, Illinois and the night ended up at the Sparta Lions Club. Kasey’s dad had been working on a couple songs to sing at the reception and when he got his guitar out, everyone in the room stood and watched as he serenaded his daughter and his new son-in-law. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the day. 

P.S. I have to give a big shout out to my niece Haylee for helping me out these last few weddings. She’s been a huge help with my lenses and lighting at the receptions and she’s great at fluffing a bridal gown.
