The leaves have officially started to change and that makes me very happy. When a senior contacts me and wants the colors of fall in their portraits, it’s hard to narrow down when that will exactly happen. When Kendra contacted me a couple months ago, she wanted fall photos and wanted to start with a few places in Red Bud and then potentially end up in Maeystown. I loved her ideas. But I didn’t know every little detail. She wanted to go to this new pastry shop in Red Bud and I loved that “cafe style” photo idea. The place is called Market On Main and they have the best pastries I’ve ever seen. I didn’t have time to take a taste test but Kendra did and she says the cinnamon rolls are amazing! You’ll see for yourself below.

The session was going great but we still needed to get pictures with Kendra’s sister (I did Candice’s senior photos too, you can view them here). And Kendra was hoping to get something with really good fall colors and maybe tall weeds. I happened to remember this place I went to for another Red Bud senior and a maternity session. It’s this abandoned lane and there are beautiful trees that line the road. It’s all overgrown and a nice wooden fence/gate. It was the perfect location and I’m so glad we went there. The light was absolutely beautiful.

This is my favorite time of year and I’m so thankful for the clients that I get to come in contact with. I had the best time with Kendra, her sister Candice and her mother Becky. Enjoy a few of my favorites.
