Last year I received a call from a man named Anthony. He was in a past wedding of mine (his brother’s) and he was engaged himself and needing a wedding photographer. He was so sweet and talked about his bride a lot. How much he loved her and how much they were looking forward to their July wedding. After making sure I was available for their wedding date, we discussed details and after a couple of days it was official. Our photographer/client relationship started and we started discussing their engagement session… which would HAVE to include their Harley Davidson motorcycle!
When I book a couple, it can be months before I actually meet them face-to-face. I don’t always do a consult in person, so that means we’re meeting for the first time on the day of their engagement session. Now if you know me, you know I don’t know a stranger. But for couples, they can get nervous meeting the photographer who’s going to be shooting their wedding. That’s the main reason I have the engagement sessions to begin with. So we can get to know each other better. I knew from the very minute I stepped out of my car that I was going to love Anthony and Bree. They are both a little shy but it didn’t take long before they were pros in front of my camera. Bree is absolutely stunning!!! She kept telling me she was super nervous and that she’s not very photogenic, but I’m here to tell you that she totally rocked it out of the park1 And it was so awesome watching Anthony look at his bride-to-be. I hope I have a guy who will look at me just a fraction of how Anthony looks at Bree. He’s seriously a romantic and teddy bear at heart. They are so perfect for each other and I’m so honored that I get to be a part of one of the biggest days of their lives.
Here are a few of my favorites from my time with them last week. I can’t wait till July gets here so I can watch these two say “I DO!”
