If there’s one thing that can stress a bride out before her wedding, it’s the threat of RAIN. Both Adrianne and I and probably half of her family, had a look at the weather multiples times in the week leading up the big day and it kept saying rain… and LOTS of it. I had faith that the day would end up beautiful no matter what and I always tell my brides to try and relax and that we’ll get enough photos in. As it turns out, on the day of Chris and Adrianne’s big day, the weather was absolutely perfect! I love when the weather guys and weather apps are wrong 🙂
It was the best lighting for a photographer (cloudy) and it wasn’t too hot where everyone was melting. If there’s a perfect scenario for a wedding day, it would be this day. The girls were getting ready at the Cohen House and the boys were getting ready across town. Since it had rained in the days leading up to the wedding, Adrianne and I made the decision to do the first look and all the bridal portraits at the Cohen House too. It really is the perfect place for wedding photos as long as it’s cloudy LOL. There’s no shade unless you take everything on porch but that doesn’t give a whole lot of options. So I was grateful that we had the luxury to move around the garden.
After a beautiful ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church, we all made our way the the American Legion to celebrate. There were lights strung above the dance floor and sequin table runners with floral centerpieces. It was such a great evening to such a wonderful and special day. It was pretty tough choosing my favorites and you’ll understand when you look through all the images below.
GORGEOUS!!!
