Weather is crazy. This spring, it’s been really crazy. As a natural light photographer who shoots mainly outdoors, you have to work around the weather. Emily and I had been in contact quite a bit lately because the weather was first looking like rain for her and Kyle’s engagement session. We got our wish and the rain went away, but the wind became an issue. In fact, we were in a wind advisory LOL. Emily trusted my opinion and we just moved the session. I know these photos are important photos and I didn’t want her hair blowing in her face the whole time, especially knowing that she was making a hair appointment!

Now it may have been in the 40s for their engagement session, but waiting a couple days was just what we needed to get the most gorgeous photos. Kyle was so sweet and soft with posing with Emily. He basically took every idea I had and made it his own. It didn’t take long before he was comfortable in front of my camera. Emily was all smiles the whole time and she rocked the most beautiful outfits. She definitely has great style! They both fed off each other wonderfully and they made each other comfortable. I’m pretty sure we were laughing through most of the session but that was because we were having the best time ever. I’m so glad that I finally got to meet these two and get to know them a little better. I cannot wait till November when these two get to say I DO.
