Spring Engagement Session – Sparta Rotary Park/Bricktown

How is it already September??? I feel like August flew by in a big blur. Since it is September, that means that my fall wedding season is about to kick off. Up first, is this cute couple… Sarah and Clint! They had their engagement session back in the spring and I’m honestly a little embarrassed I’m just now getting their blog post up. I meant to have it up before summer officially started, but working full time at another job and life just had me a little preoccupied.

So… no more waiting. I want to tell you about my time with Sarah and Clint. I had the BEST time with these two. They chose a morning engagement session (I love morning light SO MUCH) and when I have a couple who likes mornings as much as I do, I knew it was going to be an amazing session. Sparta has a beautiful park and I use it often, especially in the spring. The light there in the morning coming through the trees is absolutely perfect. Sarah arrived in this gorgeous long sleeve dress. It had a beautiful floral pattern all over in the most beautiful colors. She looked so dang pretty and I think she told me she was trying out a lipstick that she may wear on their wedding day. I think that color looked pretty fantastic if I do say so myself. Clint was all smiles and was ready for portrait time. I told him not to be nervous but if I remember correctly he told me he wasn’t nervous and he was ready to get started.

I always love watching how couples interact with each other. Clint couldn’t stop smiling and making Sarah laugh. They were a little shy at first but by the time their session ended, they were running through all of my posing technics like pros. I seriously cannot wait to get these two in front of my camera again, which is THIS SATURDAY!!! I can’t wait to see Sarah in her wedding dress and watch them say their vows in front of all of their family and friends.
