Red Bud, IL Engagement Session
These two are getting married in 11 days. That’s right… 11 days. And I’m so dang excited about it. I have had a little bit of a break through summer and I am ready to get back to shooting again. Olivia and Tyler are one of the sweetest couples ever and capturing the joy in their relationship was so much fun. I met them in Red Bud at DiVinos Winery. The grounds there are so pretty and perfect for the type of setting they were going for. It was such a beautiful day with the sun shining bright. Olivia was dressed in a flowy maxi dress that had tiny flowers all over and Tyler was dressed sharp in a white dress shirt and khaki pants. If you know me well, then you know I love the neutral colors. Neutral colors are absolutely perfect to wear for portraits because they’re timeless and classic. We moved around the grounds of DiVinos for a while and then we made our way to a park closer to town.
This park has a really pretty walkway and in the evening light it makes for a perfect portrait setting. Golden sunlight with Olivia’s blonde hair was stunning and by the end of the session, these two were going through poses like pros! During the engagement session there is plenty of time to do whatever we want. But on the wedding day, the timeline is super important and you don’t want to be taking pictures the whole day. You want to be visiting with family and friends as soon as you can. Engagement sessions prep a couple in so many ways and I know Olivia and Tyler will rock their wedding day portraits because they’ve already practiced!
Here’s a few of my favorites from my time with these two. Be looking for their wedding blog post this fall!
