Engagement Session at the Family Farm
Spring is getting here, slowly but surly and if you’re like me you’re counting down the days! It has felt like the longest winter of all time around here and I’m ready for longer days and warm sunshine. As much as I love Spring, I also love Fall and my calendar is always full of engagement sessions. It’s the favorite time of year for portraits and Alyssa and Travis wanted just that. They wanted a fall session at Alyssa’s family farm close to sunset.
Alyssa and I had been discussing lots of ideas for their session. I told her that they could do two different outfits and we could go any where around the property that they wanted. They definitely wanted to incorporate their dogs in some photos and we would have to get in the side-by-side to head to certain spots closer to sunset for some epic lighting. I couldn’t wait to get these two in front of my camera!
On the day of their session, the weather was perfect! It was such a beautiful evening for a session. Alyssa wanted to do photos with the dogs in both of their outfits so we started at the house first with a few portraits, took our first round of photos with the pups (just wait till you see them in their bandanas) and then Alyssa and Travis went and changed. After a while we decided it was time to get on the side-by-side. And let me tell you…. the last location we ended up with was so amazing! The sun was setting so beautifully and I have so many favorites. I think the one where Travis is carrying Alyssa’s through the field is probably my favorite. They are just the absolute cutest! Seriously, you’re going to love them.
These two will be saying “I DO” this coming June and it’s just right around the corner! Enjoy looking through my favorites below. Have a wonderful week!
