Meet Chelsea. A 2013 senior from Chester who knew exactly how she wanted her senior session to go. I met up with Chelsea, her mother and her friend Michaelyn in Red Bud and we drove to Belleville for her modern/urban session. There were so many ideas and poses that she wanted to try, mostly pinned in a Pinterest board she had prepared for the day. I told you she was prepared and knew what she wanted. The trick was, to find locations that fit her expectations. I told her about this awesome parking garage that I like to use and she immediately told me it sounded like a great spot and we both agreed her homecoming dress would be perfect for the setting. Since we knew we would be doing those shots last, we hunted around for other locations. While in a spot that I love (handmade brick roads and different colored buildings) her mother found this great wall with tile…almost like a pool. It was absolutely perfect and I’m pumped that I now have a new place to use. It was an amazing find and the pictures we took there are some of my favorites from her session.

I had such a great time with Chelsea and I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard as I have at a senior session as I did with her and her friend Michaelyn. Michaelyn is hilarious and when I was trying to get a “serious” face shot with her and Chelsea, they couldn’t keep a straight face. She kept making jokes and making funny faces. Seriously, it was a blast! Never a dull moment.
