I’ve known Lisa since high school. She and I were BFFs from the very first day we walked in and found our lockers. The lockers were given in alphabetical order and we just so happened to have the same last name. Turns out we’re actually related! Not closely related though. When she met Robert our senior year of high school I just knew it was something special. After a few years she and Robert were married and they now have a beautiful little girl named Emma. She’s almost 4 years old already!!! Crazy how time flies.

I took some photos of their family when Emma turned 3, so Lisa wanted updated pics this year just before Emma’s 4th birthday. When I was thinking of locations I knew right where I wanted to take them. The railroad tracks in Sparta. What I didn’t know is that Robert’s father worked for the railroad for years. Sadly Robert’s father is no longer with us. It turned out perfectly that we were taking pictures in a location that reminded Robert of his father.

I absolutely love these pictures. Toby, the newest addition to their family, also came along too. You can’t have a family photo taken without your pets! Especially a cute puppy like Toby. Emma is so cute with Toby and actually one of my favorites from their session (which you’ll see below) is of her hugging Toby. I’m so excited to show you their session. Enjoy!
