DJ + Heather | Pink and Black Elegant Wedding – The Wedding Garden, Carbondale, IL

This is one blog post I’ve been excited to write about and show you. My cousin DJ married Heather on June 8. It was one of the best days of spring we have had in our area. The temperature wasn’t too hot, or too cold. As Goldilocks would say, “It was just right.” The sky was perfect (meaning lots of clouds) and a ceremony starting late in the evening meant that the sunlight was going to be perfect and golden. Heather walked down the isle in a beautiful beaded gown with a small train. DJ walked out with his groomsmen wearing his shades. It was bright after all so it only seem appropriate. I gotta admit, it was kind of cool seeing the groomsmen wearing sunglasses.

After DJ and Heather said “I DO” in front of all their family and friends, they were introduced as husband and wife into their amazing reception. The Wedding Garden in Carbondale, IL is a beautiful place for wedding. The lighting inside their reception area is out of this world!!! It’s a photographer’s dream. One of the best parts of the reception was the bouquet toss. Those girls were absolutely crazy (crazy in a good way) and one ended up completely on the floor. I couldn’t stop laughing at the photos that I got. I’ll spare those photos for now, but trust me they are pretty good.

DJ and Heather, I love you two more than words can describe. I’m so glad that you two are in my life. I hope you love your wedding photos as much as I do because I can’t stop looking at them!!! Wishing you two many many years of happiness.
