A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting wedding pictures for a cute couple in Sparta, IL. Since Caleb and Jayci didn’t take engagement pictures with me, their wedding day was the first time we really got to work together. Of course we met for a consult but they had never been in front of my camera. Jayci told me that Caleb wasn’t a huge fan of his picture being taken but that didn’t stop me from getting amazing shots of him LOL. You would have never known that he hated his picture being taken though. I can completely understand since I’m the same way.

Their wedding and reception took place all at the same location, the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sparta, IL. The church is beautiful and I had never been inside of it till Caleb and Jayci’s wedding. There was a new addition to the church as well, a new banquet hall, and their wedding was the first event to be held there. It had plenty of natural light, which I loved, and there was definitely plenty of room for a wedding reception.

The whole day seemed to fly by like a blur. In fact, I was home by 4:30pm that day! Sounds crazy, but it’s true. They had a quick but memorable reception. The toasts given were heart warming and when Caleb danced with his mother I got chills. He’s definitely close to his mamma and you could see that when he danced with her.

Caleb and Jayci, thank you so much for allowing me to follow you around on one of the most important days of your lives. I had so much fun with you and your families and I wish you two many many years of happiness. Enjoy your pictures!
