So, it’s almost 10pm on Thursday evening and I’m still editing away at all the sessions I’ve had lately. I’m so excited to introduce you to this couple! Todd and Beth are so great and had to reschedule their engagement pictures because of rain. Yesterday was the day we scheduled their session for and yet again, Mother Nature threatened to cancel it. Beth was super nervous but willing to do whatever it took to work around the rain. It just so happened I was free all afternoon yesterday so we moved the session up. And I gotta tell you….I LOVE RAINY OVERCAST DAYS! You’ll see what I mean when you go through these amazing pics. The light is so creamy and I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful this is for anyone wanting pics from me. I always have clients, like Beth, who get scared of rain and cloudy weather and I always reassure them that it’s fine, it’s better than sunny days. I love all of these pictures so much. Yes, because of the light, but also because Todd and Beth look so happy. Todd’s a country boy and not a “lovey dovey” kind of guy but you would never know it by looking at their pics. I told him all he had to do was love on Beth and he took it from there. You always see a man’s face light up when I say their only job for the day is to love on their fiancé. It’s like the easiest way to make them feel comfortable.

I already posted my favorites to Facebook (Beth was super excited and I didn’t want to make her wait while I write this blog post). Enjoy looking through my favorites from yesterday’s amazing engagement session. In the meantime, I’m going to go brew me a cup of tea and enjoy the rest of my night.
