There are towns that I like taking my portraits in and then there are towns that I absolutely LOVE taking pictures in. And Du Quoin just happens to be one of my top favorites. It has this great mix of country and modern settings. Whether I’m taking my clients through the alley’s of downtown or walking through open fields and weeds out by the fairgrounds, I’m always amazed with the end result. It’s also a town that’s great for clients that just don’t know what type of session they want.

After I booked James and Emily’s wedding, Emily and I started talking about their engagement session. She knew she wanted the fall but didn’t know what type of setting she wanted. After looking through her Pinterest board, I knew exactly where I’d take them. I figured I would start with a country setting and then move our way into more modern and urban settings. Emily loved that idea and they styled their clothes perfectly. Everything went perfectly and I’m excited to have new friends. James and Emily are so sweet and I’m so thankful that I get to be apart of their wedding day. Enjoy looking at my favorites from their session.
