I’ve known Cortney for quite some time now. I used to work at a clothing store in Du Quoin and she was a friend of one of my co-workers. We’ve kept in touch a little since then and when she changed her status on Facebook to “engaged’ I couldn’t tell you how happy I was for her and was so honored that she and Heath wanted me to to be their wedding photographer.

They booked me for their wedding like a year ago and it seems like forever ago but they wanted a fall engagement session. The cabin is where they wanted that session to be. I knew from the very minute I pulled through the gates that it was going to be a beautiful session. Heath and Cortney go to the cabin all the time with their children and it’s actually the very place where Heath proposed. It holds so many special memories for them so it was definitely the best place for their pictures. Cortney’s son even took me over to the other side of the lake to get pictures of Heath reenacting the proposal LOL. It was so much fun and I’m so excited to show you these pictures.

December is right around the corner and Cortney will be walking down the isle to Heath and they’ll become husband and wife. I cannot wait!!!!! Enjoy looking through my favorites from their engagement session and stay tuned for their wedding pics in December!
